The Texas Tribune printed on Sept 25, 2026 that beef prices will go up due to “a massive chilling effect on the legal, documented, skilled workers that put beef on the table and keep the supply chain, moving,”.
Well, thats unfortunate, but I am totally fine paying more for beef if that means ICE picks up violent illegal immigrants. I can economize in another area if my life.
If a few legal workers are accidentally lumped in, but eventually released, then go ahead and sue the government later for racial profiling. It’s your right as an American. But to me, a few days in jail or a few more dollars for beef is an incrementally small price to pay to stop someone’s child from being violently murdered by someone who isn’t supposed to be in this country.
